Have an open conversation with your supervisor about your personal work situation and work management.
In a staff appraisal interview, you can tell your boss what bothers you at work and what might improve your performance and your well-being.
Staff appraisal interviews are also a good time to address smaller problems, because you now have your supervisor's full attention. Ask for a new chair, a larger monitor or a height adjustable table.
