In today's society, the pursuit of physical activity is particularly important because we do not move enough due to computer work stations, television, our use of cars and the like.
In order to obtain objective information, mobile sensor systems are used to measure physical activity. While simple electro-mechanical pedometers were often used in the past, complex, mobile sensor systems or apps will be tomorrow's technology of choice.
